Barrington Hotel

Return from Barrington Hotel to Branson Hotels

Barrington Hotel

This Branson hotel is located just off Shepherd of the Hills Expressway (Red Route) almost to Hwy 248. It is in the Branson North area of our site's area map colored as pale blue.

Barrington with view The area of Branson North is a quiet area in the Ozark Hills north of the 76 Strip and north of the southern part of Shepherd of the Hills Expressway but is situated near several theaters including

  • The Mansion Theater
  • The Sight and Sound Theater
  • The Tri-Lakes Center
  • The Kirby Van Burch Theater

There are several areas of shopping close by with the Branson Meadows Shoppes on Gretna Road just a few blocks away. South of Branson Meadows on Gretna Road is the Branson Mills Center featuring unique shops and pioneer crafts.

On Hwy 248 you can find shopping centers and shops to the east and taking Hwy 248 to the west or northwest about 1.5 miles will bring you to Branson Hills Parkway. Turn right here to access shopping and dining establishments including WalMart Supercenter and Target.

Restaurants can be found in any direction including Gretna Road, Hwy 248 and the Branson Hills area. A short drive to the southern part of Shepherd of the Hills Expressway which is in the 76 West area (light yellow on our area map) will bring you to more dining choices. Check our Restaurant pages for a complete listing.

There is good access from the hotels to all parts of the Branson area and multiple ways of getting there but we include some easy routes to some of the areas

  • To Silver Dollar City

  • Take Hwy 248 to the west/northwest about 4 miles to Hwy 465(Ozark Mountain Highroad) and take exit ramp west(left) to Hwy 76, then turn right on Hwy 76 to Silver Dollar City or turn left to Shepherd of the Hills Expressway

  • To Downtown

  • Take Hwy 248 east and cross over Hwy 65 to Downtown and Branson Landing( about 3 miles)

  • To the Strip

  • Take Gretna Road south about 1.5 miles from the hotel to Roark Valley Road (Blue Route). From here you can turn left on Roark Valley Road east to one of the roads leading up to the Central and eastern sections of the 76 Strip. Gretna Road will also take you to the strip at the intersection by the Titanic attraction or you can turn right for one block to Shepherd of the Hills Expressway and turn left to the western part of the strip

  • To Table Rock Lake Dam
  • From the hotel follow Shepherd of the Hills Expressway (Red Route) to Hwy 76, cross Hwy 76 and the road becomes hwy 376. Follow it to Hwy 265, turn left and follow to the stoplight. You can turn right and cross over the Table Rock Dam

The Barrington Hotel and Suites has 145 spacious luxury rooms and a hotel entry featuring a stone fireplace and hardwood floors. You'll need to call or e-mail for pricing but we believe the standard rooms would be in the modest range of $50-$70 per night. The pricing is indicative of the value in Branson lodging

The Barrington Hotel is within walking distance of the Mansion Theater, the All American Café and Whippersnappers restaurant at the Branson Towers but a drive would probably be required for other activities though as mentioned driving access is good.
