Have you noticed that breakfast seems to have an added importance when you're on vacation? And I'm talking about that down home, country breakfast that you just can't enjoy that often in your day to day routine at home.

Well, here in Branson those of us who seem to feel that every day is a vacation tend to make breakfast a part of the day to day routine. So we are going to provide a small guideline to your Branson breakfast.

You can find breakfast in Branson at many great restaurants and with fear of overlooking some of the best we provide you a list of our favorites. Following these favorites is a list of locations for magnificent Sunday brunches. And then a list of more restaurants that feature breakfast fare. One of these may end up as your favorite.

BILLY GAIL'S

Head west, up the mountain, past Shepherd of the Hills Homestead and follow the traffic. If they go straight past Hwy 265, they're going to Silver Dollar City. If they turn left at 265, they're heading to Billy Gail's. It's that popular and that good.

Once inside, at your table and not far from the huge fireplace you'll find one of the best country breakfast menus to be found anywhere. This is good food folks and the atmosphere pulls you into a warm, cozy feeling as you dig into a big country breakfast. And if you are into that lite, fruity, nutty health food fare, we think we saw that on the menu as well.

If you like the atmosphere of old downtown Branson, get there early in the morning for a great start at Clocker's.  It is here that you will enjoy the feel of an old town café and mingle with locals and travelers alike.
