It was 1959 when four Mabe brothers, known as the Baldknobbers began entertaining visitors on the Branson lakefront. Today the 2nd & 3rd generations of the Mabe family carry on the tradition of great country music and hilarious comedy. Joined by a cast of dynamic singers, musicians, comedians and entertainers performing country classics, hot new country hits and side splitting comedy. This is entertainment honoring God & Country with classic and contemporary country, gospel and some great comedy. We've enjoyed this show for years. This is a true Ozark Mountain show.

Branson wouldn't be the same without the Baldknobbers.

It's called "Country Music Express" which it is, but this is also a full variety show. The Country music is superb. Clay is as good as they come and the back-up band takes a back seat to no one. The dance numbers put on by the country express dancers add a wonderful variety to the show. These are some good dancers led by Clay's wife Tina. The show is all new for 2010.

Pianist R.P. Harrell has one of the great voices in Branson. You can definitely look forward to his solos.

If you want some top-notch rope twirling or some trick gun-slingin' you're in for a treat with Johnny Lonestar. He's fun to watch.

Clay & Tina's son Colt is a born showman. He does a little of everything including comedy. Speaking of comedy, one of the top comedians in Branson is Matt "Sticky" Gumm. You can read a little about Sticky in our comedy section.

He is a gifted musician as well and his impressions are a riot.

So if you looking for some country music, some ropin' and some dancin', great comedy and impersonations this is a show you don't want to miss.

Lallie Bridges does a classic country music show with tributes to some of the great lady country singers. Her signature song is the classic "I was raised on Country Sunshine" which was written by her mother and mad popular by Dottie West. Show time is 5:30 PM. In 1971, Mickey and his partner opened "Gilleys", a Honky Tonk featured in the movie "Urban Cowboy" and there was no stopping him after that with Mickey releasing hit after hit. The music and the band are great and some of the best comedy in town.

This is one of our favorite shows. We keep returning each year and sometimes more. A group of very talented vocalists backed up by one of the best bands in town, they sing a variety of music including country music, gospel music and pop music.

Member Tim Storms set a Guinness World Record for the lowest note produced by a human and set another Guinness World Record for the widest vocal range by a male. Dan Britton, Cole Currier, Casey Ellison, Gary Koreiba and Larry Turner round out this magnificent vocal group.

Every bit as popular is the sweet voice of Kim Boyce. Kim has 7 contemporary Christian Albums and 11 #1 songs.

Desta McAuliffe adds some favorite country and gospel songs to the show. She is a real delight.

If you like to laugh, Jarrett Doughtery will provide that pleasure. You may leave with a gut ache from laughing at this guy. He is one of the funniest people we've ever seen. You don't want to miss him or his many characters. (See our comedy page for more on Jarrett)

The Presley's have been pleasing country music fans for years. They were first to build a theater along Hwy 76 and the others followed. This is a great production with great music including pop, country, gospel and contemporary along with some of the best instrumental music in the area. Comedy has always been an integral part of this show and continues today. Check out our page on comedy. Herkimer and Cecil are hilarious.

We come to this show most every year and usually 2 or more times. Kids love the antics of Herkimer and Cecil and will count this show as one of their favorites.
