Branson Theaters


Our theaters page is a complete look at each venue and the shows performing at each one for 2010. The individual venues are grouped in the sections of our area map. We hope this provides another convenient way of finding the entertainment that you seek. It's a long list, over 40 venues with most having multiple shows. These shows are also grouped by show type and those pages are shown in parenthesis.

Changes and additional shows will occur through the year so we hope you will continue to check with us for new shows and changes.

    Yakov's Moscow Circus(one of a kind show page)
    The show is packed with superb artistry, mid-cap antics, zany romance and outright fun. You will also enjoy a mouthwatering Russian dinner while the kids munch on "Yak in the Box." Show runs from March thru December at 12 noon, 5:30 PM and 8 PM depending on the date.

    Yakov's Smirnoff Show(comedy page & Branson Christmas)
    The famous Russian delivers his explosive comedy. Shows are on selected dates in April, May, September and October. Yakov's Christmas show begins November 3 and runs through December 11 at either 9:30 AM or 2 PM.

    Red(impersonators page) "Red" is Tom Mullica's one man tribute to the lovable Red Skelton. You'll love this show. Shows are at 10 AM, Sept. 7 – December 11.

    Liverpool Legends.(Rock Music page). George Harrison's sister, Louise Harrison presents this uncanny likeness to the Beatles. You will feel you are seeing the real thing live. If you like the Beatles then this is a must see show. Shows are from March 13 – October 23 at 8 PM.

    The Gatlin Brothers(country Music page). The Gatlin's are back in Branson for engagements May 11, 12, 19-22 and September 3-5 at 8 PM.

    Christmas with Debby Boone and the Gatlin Brothers( Branson Christmas). November 2 – December 4. Shows are at 3 PM, 8 PM and both times on selected dates.

    Vicki Lawrence & Mama-A Two Woman Show-(comedy) the famed Emmy Award winning comedienne and legendary cast member of the "Carol Burnett Show" brings her hilarious mixture of stand-up comedy, music and real life observations. May 7-8 and October 8-9 at 8 PM.

    Kenny G- (pop music) One night only-April 24 at 8 PM

    Christmas at The Mansion with Johnny Mathis-(Branson Christmas). For 2-nights only the great Johnny Mathis celebrates Christmas in Branson. November 12-13 at 8 PM.

    Penny Gilley-(Variety page). RFD-TV star Penny Gilley brings her "Country Variety with lots of Pizzazz" to the Mansion at 3 PM, April 13 – October 30 and a special Veterans show November 9 at 3 PM. The show will also feature Branson's Premier Impressionist " Jeff Brandt."

The Branson Meadows Theater……………CLOSED

    This Theater is in the mall area but is closed as of spring 2010. This theater should not be confused with the cinema theater that is still. The last show here was "50's At The Hop" which is now opening at the old Clay Cooper Theater on Hwy 76 just east of The Grand Victorian Hotel on the north side of the strip.

    Noah, The Musical-(musicals page). An amazing musical production based upon the Biblical story of Noah. The elaborate stage production complete with the ark and live animals, the musical tells the inspiring story of faith. Show times are 3:30 and 7:30 PM, March 26-October 17, 2010

    Behind the Scenes Tour- An exclusive opportunity to go backstage and discover the technology and ingenuity that powers the dramatic complexity of each show. A million watts of lights-60,000 watts of sound-and a stage over 20,000 sq. ft in size. Tours begin at 1 PM, April 7-October 8, 2010.

    Miracle of Christmas(Branson Christmas). This is the touching story of kings, angels and a simple, faithful couple used by God. The theater is decorated for the season of Christmas, including a spectacular thirty-foot Christmas Tree. Show times are 3:30 and 7:30 PM. October 30 – December 31, 2010

    The Dalena Ditto Show -(country music page). Dalena has down-home sense of humor and performs incredible renditions of country favorites. She is accompanied by her six-piece band, The Boys. Show times are Tuesday-Saturday April 27-June 26 and Tuesday-Saturday, September 14-December 11 at 10 AM.

    Roy Clark - (country music page). The great Roy Clark and his band Roy's Toys performs his hits. Justin David is a featured guest on each show. Show time is 8 PM on selected dates:

    Daniel O'Donnell with Guest Artist Mary Duff (variety page). Daniel & Mary bring a little bit of Ireland to the stage as they sing a host of cherished Irish and favorite tunes all with a Irish twist. Show time at 2 PM, November 1-20

    Mel Tillis/Pam Tillis & Family -(Country music page). Two legendary performers and Grand Ole Opry members on one great show. Show time is 7:30 PM, November 2-December 4, 2010.

    Sons of the Silver Dollar - (country music page). Silver Dollar City's resident cowpokes entertain throughout the year with their vocal talents and tight harmonies. Show times are regularly throughout the day all year long.
    Street Troupe (one of a kind ). These characters create mischief and shenanigans as the notorious fuedin' Hatfields and McCoys and others as they play out their hilarious antics in the city square. Show times are regularly throughout the day all year long.

    Pure Heart (country music). Teresa, Tanyia and Melanie entertain on Main Street with family stories and vocal harmonies. Show times are regularly throughout the day all year long.

    Homestead Pickers (country music) – Relax on the front porch of McHaffie's Homestead and sing along with the Homestead Pickers as they play some of your old time favorites and some great bluegrass. Show times are regularly throughout the day all year long.

    Aunt Judy (one of a kind) – Aunt Judy will grab the attention of old and young alike with her storytelling. Her tall tales and old-fashioned yarns will take your imagination to a place and time that few can accomplish. Show times are regularly throughout the day all year long.

    Choctaw Charlie's Frontier Follies (one of a kind) – A wild west comedy with beautiful saloon girls and others. Show times are regularly throughout the day all year long.

    Cajun Connection (country Music) – Louisiana Hall Of Fame member Cedric Benoit and his Cajun Connection band play the musical traditions of Louisiana. Show times are regularly throughout the day all year long.

    Horsecreek Band (country music) – Traditional country music, bluegrass and gospel music by four veteran Silver Dollar City performers. Show times are regularly throughout the day all year long.


Red Gold Heritage Hall, Frisco Barn and Echo Hollow® Amphitheater at Silver Dollar City

    GAC Nights in Echo Hollow® (country music) – 10 singers and dancers accompanied by a live band present music and comedy for the whole family. Evening show, weather permitting throughout the year.

    Ozark Mountain Daredevils (country music, Rock music) – Two special concerts with these musical icons. Show times are 3 PM and 7 PM, Friday, April 30, 2010. Tickets are $5 with park pass.

    The Bob Nelson Comedy Show - (comedy page). If you like to laugh, yo'll want to cat Bob at the Barbara Fairchild Diner. The show is filled with classic comedy routines and some great new ones. Bob's crazy cast of characters will keep you laughing and best of all, it's good, clean comedy suitable for the whole family. Show time is 8 PM Tues-Thurs, May-Dec, 2010

    The Shoji Tabuchi Show- (Variety page). This is a show that is hard to describe. It is extraordinary. This is a musical production with the best of music professionals and dancers that rivals any theater production anywhere. Showcased in a theater where even the bathrooms are the talk of the town, this is a must see when you come to Branson. Show times are either 10:30 AM, 3 PM, and 7:30 PM and on selected dates either 2 or 3 shows. April 8 – December 12, 2010.



Pierce Arrow Theater

    The Pierce Arrow Show- (Country music and comedy page). They call it Branson's Hottest Show and though we don't know the criteria for that, we will agree that it is one if not the hottest show in town. The group is entertaining with beautiful harmonies and the World's lowest bass singer according to the Guinness Book of World Records. Also featured is Kim Boyce, who owns 7 Christian Contemporary Albums and 11 number one songs and Desta, a 25 year old Oklahoma native with a beautiful voice who loves country and gospel.

    You'll see the billboards "Want funny", "We got funny" and with Jarrett Dougherty they can certainly claim. He is absolutely one of the funniest guys we've ever seen. You do not want to miss him.

    Show time is either 3 PM or 3 PM & 7:30 PM depending on the date and we are told these are two different shows. Open from February 11, 2010 – January 1, 2011.

    The Hamner Barber Show-(magic page, one of a kind & Branson Christmas) The Hamners have received their 2nd Merlin Award from the "International Magicians Society" as International Entertainers of the Year in 2006. Jim Barber also received the Merlin Award for his unique combination of magic techniques and ventriloquism.

    This is both a funny and amazing show and one that kids will love. My Grandson and I spent a great day highlighted by this show. When our mouths weren't open in amazement, they were open with howls of laughter. This is a fun show and a great place to share time with kids.

    Hand in Hand-Entertainment Show (one of a kind)- Branson honors Purple Heart Veterans. Thursday April 22, 2-4 PM and Friday April 23, 2 PM-3:30 PM.

    Ricky Boen & Texas Mud- (country music page). World Champion fiddler Ricky Boen and his Western Swing Group of the year. Texas Mud, present the most toe-tapping show in town. Twin fiddles, harmonized vocals and gut-busting comedy make this a great show to begin your day. Show times at 10 AM, Monday-Friday, April 1 –December 11, 2010
    Plummer Family Reunion Show-(country music page-gospel). Saturday, May 1, 2010, 2 PM – 4 PM

    The Keatings- Pop music and country music page). A Father and Son Musical Experience, The Keating's share their powerful voices singing Pop, Jazz, Rock, Country, Opera, Broadway, Standards and Gospel. Show times are Wednesday-Saturday at 3 PM, April 28-December 11, 2010

    Shepherd of the Hills Outdoor Drama-(one of a kind show). Celebrating 50 years, this is the story of the Ozarks from Harold Bell Wrights classic book. A live action performance with over 80 actors, 40 horses, a flock of sheep, guns and rifles, a burning log cabin and a vintage 1908 DeWitt automobile. If you've read the book and visit the Ozarks, you've got to see this.

    Brule' and the AIRO (American Indian Rock Opera)-(one of a kind show page). For over a decade Brule' has been blending Native American sounds and rhythms to create a performance nothing short of spectacular. Soul filling songs accompanied by choreographed Native American dance, this two hour show offers audiences a on of a kind experience.     Ronnie Reno and the Cumberland Highlanders (country music) - RFD-TV Stars come to Branson on the same stage at RFD-TV theater. The best of bluegrass comes together for a show that is sure to please the music lover. Show times are 3 Pm & 8 PM, May 14, 15, 16, 30 & 31.

    Jimmy Sturr and the Jimmy Sturr Orchestra- (one of a kind show). America's Polka King has been entertaining millions of fans across the World. Show Time is 10 AM-6 PM (all day) on July 20-24

    Bill Anderson & Country's Family Reunion-(country music page). Spend time with Whisperin' Bill Anderson as he hosts country's heroes as they share stories and sing songs that made them famous. Show times are Sun & Mon at 3 PM & 8 PM, April 18-19, June 20-21, Sept 19-20 and Nov 7-8.

    Marty Stuart & The Fabulous Superlatives- (country music page). Known for his musical merging of rockabilly, honky tonk and traditional country music, Marty and the Superlatives will entertain. Show times is 8 PM, Fri & Sat, Oct 22-23

    Midwest Country Stars- (country music page). RFD-TV Stars from Sandstone, MN, these talented musicians bring traditional Country Music to the stage in Branson, MO. Show times are 3 PM & 8 PM, Wed & Thur, Oct. 20,21

    David Church(country music page). David may be best known for being the World's greatest Hank Williams tribute artist but that's not all this cowboy can play. "Straight Up Country" is how he describes the country music he loves to play. Show times are 3 PM & 8 PM, Fri., Aug 6 and Sat., Aug 7, 2010

    Shotgun Red(one of a kind show). The loveable, quick witted puppet and his right hand man, Steve Hall Show times are no strangers to country music fans, having become an institution on the Nashville Entertainment scene. Teaming up with Steve's 7 piece band, Shotgun Red tapes 26 shows for RFD-TV. He'll keep you laughing. 3 PM & 8 PM Sun-Tue, Oct 17-19, and Sun & Mon Oct 24-25. 3 PM Show Tue-Sat, Oct 26-30

    The Roy Rogers Museum & Theater were closed December 12, 2009 and museum artifacts were auctioned off. It is sad to see this piece of history gone from the Branson scene, but as Roy, Jr. said, the fans who remember the great Roy Rogers and Dale Evans are growing older or have passed on and the visitor numbers were not there.

    A happy note, though is that Roy Rogers, Jr. and grandson Dustin will be playing the great western songs at 10 AM at the Mickey Gilley Theater in 2010.
